Doctor Who was filmed on the outskirts of Cardiff and Wales, so series fans may detect without problems many of the scenarios that were used for filming in Cardiff Bay. In addition, they may end their journey withDoctor Who Experience, an interesting interactive museum that can participate in a mini episode and discover the scenarios and characters from the famous series.

Lots of free events like the fair are held in Cardiff Bay international Food and Drinks of the Cardiff Harbour Festival, taking place during the summer.

La Canea is one of the most beautiful cities in Crete, particularly for its Venetian buildings from the 15th century and the Mosque of the Janissaries.

The city grew up around the end of the Minoan era as an important city-state in Classical Greece, its borders extending from the bay of La Canea to the foot of the white mountains.

The Splantzia district, behind the port, has preserved all its ancient charm.

The city is also home to an Archaeology Museum with an excellent collection of Minoan ceramics and clay tablets and the enormous Schiavo Bastion. The lighthouse located at the end of the Venetian wall of the port is the best place on the island to go shopping.

What better way to discover a city than aboard this colourful tram? The Ebbelwei-Express will take you to all the most interesting sites of Frankfurt on a psychedelic vehicle that could well have been inspired by the Beatle’s yellow submarine.
While enjoying the journey, passengers will listen to music and be served cider (the city’s traditional beverage) and the typical pretzels (savoury biscuits in the form of a knot).
The journey lasts about one hour. Departing from the zoo, the route passes by the Modern Art Museum, the Cathedral, St Paul’s Church and the central station before ending up at the municipal library – Der Portikus.
Passengers can get on and off the Ebbelwei-Express as they please along the way, meaning that the fun is guaranteed.
